Wow! Infosec over for another year. That was so tiring. I think I’m getting too old….
Good feel to Infosec this year. V busy. V buzzy. Lots of interest. Good sign given the economy - v promising
Met some old friends at Infosec today-been a long time since I have been to a UK show.
Some young upstart had the nerve to ask if it was my first visit! She was probably still in school last time I went to Infosec though…
Forgot how tiring Infosec can be. Very profitable day today, and 2 solid days of back-to-back meetings coming up!
Highlight of this London trip:pretty French girls trying to get stoic horseguards soldier boys to smile. “Ah oui…un peu! Oui, j’ai vu!”
He did too…. smirk, that is….
First time I’ve noticed all the bomb damage to the V&A Museum caused by the Blitz & left as a memorial.Amazing how these buildings survived.
Did I mention I hate traveling?
Next time, I’m packing shirts straight from the washing machine and ironing them when I get to wherever I’m going!
Apparently we don’t have waiters in the morning at the Marriott…. we have “Breakfast Associates”. How cool is that?
Why the hell I bothered ironing these shirts I’ll never know.Doesn’t matter how carefully you fold, they come out of suitcase like dishrags!
Played in inter-club golf match against Grande Motte yesterday-great front 9 then imploded! Put 5 balls in the water over 3 holes!
We lost our game, but the team won overall, so that’s what counts….. isn’t it? 44 front 9, and I daren’t even tell you my back 9 score!

And yes, I am fully aware of the irony within that last Tweet, thank you! :-)
Disturbing/sad that in my homeland these days I have to ask “do you speak English” more frequently than I do in France!
Hoot Of The Day yesterday: I passed four stupid bints standing outside one of those outrageously expensive oxygen bars…all smoking!
How is it that if I’m stuck on train for a few hours I have 500 emails waiting, but if I’m up early cos of time zone change I only have 4?
Ahhh, sunrise over Waterloo station, the construction sites in the distant haze… it never gets old…
At least if you travel via Paris there’s chance that’s as far as everyone else is going-or you can lose them in the Metro!
Do I head back early giving me slack time in case of delays, or do I stick to Plan A which shows my trains as unaffected… for now?
The French train strike continues - I’m playing Russian roulette with my return trains…. will they won’t they….?
What was my cure for the worst day traveling ever? Fish ‘n’ chips and sticky toffee pudding. Yum yum… who says the English can’t cook?
Never travel via Lille during a train strike. There’s only one place all those delayed passengers are heading-the next available Eurostar!
Aaaaaah England… Every time I come back for even a short time it reminds me why I moved away in the first place!
London is full of nutters. No, really… Certifiable, grade A, tin foil beanie-wearing, scary-as-hell, “don’t sit next to me”, nutters!
Ironing shirts in hotel bedroom at 10pm. I feel like Ian Poulter…and not in a good way!
Does anyone else keep trying to moive that damn keyboard out of the way on their Blackberry? #screentoosmall
Well today is right up there in my top ten Worst Travel Days Of My Life. Didn’t know about the French rail strike til I arrived at station!
7 pars today, but balanced by some bad holes too, for a round of 88. Sunshine at last-t-shirt & shorts and an extra 10 yards of ball flight!
OK-so how do I power down/reset this damn iPhone under OS 4.0? No, seriously…

Perspective people-Apple isn’t stopping anyone from developing for iPad,just no cross-compiled stuff.Prob for v good reason re multi-tasking
If you don’t like what Apple has done-don’t buy Apple. If you want to take advantage of the iPad opportunity, use the “approved” tools.Simple
Just to reiterate-OS 4.0 is looking awesome, but unless you need it for development work, don’t risk it on your main phone. It’s not ready
iPhone OS 4.0: Free memory permanently under 4MB on 16GB 3G & can’t free any more. Guess weird mem usage is due to new background processes?
iPhone OS 4.0: I believe Apple re multitasking on the 3G. Mine barely supports one app at a time under 4.0, would hate to see multiple!
iPhone OS 4.0: First impression-OK, it may be beta, but it’s sloooooooow! Don’t upgrade on your main phone!
iPhone OS 4.0: Hey! Where have my vertical scrolling indicators gone in Tweetie?!
iPhone OS 4.0: LOVING apps folders, unified inbox and email conversation threading
